The purpose of the Pearson Test of English is to evaluate non-native English speakers' readiness for participation in university-level English language teaching programs.
The Graduate Management Admission Council supports PTE Academic. PTE Academic results are accepted by several universities, including Yale University in the United States, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and London Business School in the United Kingdom.
